My love for flowers began as a young girl while helping my mother tend her flower gardens on a small farm in eastern Washington. In the gardens I learned to appreciate the interplay between foliage and flower and the beauty they offer. They are gifts!

After designing flowers for a half dozen weddings with great success, Botanical Design Studio emerged. My style is to use color and texture to create bouquets that are unique and natural looking. I like to walk my gardens and select additional flowers or foliage to bring added flavor to bouquets. Creating floral designs is always playful and exhilarating at the same time. 

Inspiration for designs comes from nature, my gardens, and years of experience learning the language of flowers.

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in natural resources with a great deal of background in botany. I have several years experience working in the floral culture industry along with event planning.
